Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to understand fabrication requirements.
  • Cut, shape, and weld metal components using various fabrication techniques, such as cutting torches, plasma cutters, and welding machines.
  • Utilize fabrication machinery and tools, including shears, brakes, rollers, and drills, to shape and form steel materials.
  • Select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment necessary for fabrication.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision during the fabrication process to meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks to verify that fabricated components meet the required tolerances and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of assigned projects.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and consumables essential for fabrication.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with supervisors and team members regarding project progress, challenges, and potential solutions.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity within the fabrication department.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a fabricator in the steel fabrication industry
  • Can provide Certificate of Employment or TESDA Certificate related to Fabrication
  • Can understand and speak English
  • With at least 3 years of experience in the same field
