Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to understand fabrication requirements.
- Cut, shape, and weld metal components using various fabrication techniques, such as cutting torches, plasma cutters, and welding machines.
- Utilize fabrication machinery and tools, including shears, brakes, rollers, and drills, to shape and form steel materials.
- Select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment necessary for fabrication.
- Ensure accuracy and precision during the fabrication process to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify that fabricated components meet the required tolerances and specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of assigned projects.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and consumables essential for fabrication.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate and coordinate with supervisors and team members regarding project progress, challenges, and potential solutions.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity within the fabrication department.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a fabricator in the steel fabrication industry
- Can provide Certificate of Employment or TESDA Certificate related to Fabrication
- Can understand and speak English
- With at least 3 years of experience in the same field
